Upcoming Concerts

Greater Columbus Community Orchestra is dedicated to making great music in Central Ohio.

We offer a portal to community musicians to come together, work on orchestra music from the past to the present day, and perform concerts that are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! We've had times we've had to get extra chairs to accommodate the audiences at Hilliard Presbyterian Church, and we're happy to do so!

We are a non-profit organization and we do gratefully accept donations.

Here's the schedule of our upcoming performances (with a few notes about rehearsals, too):*

Winter Concert II 2018

Sunday, March 25th, 2018, 7 PM

Hilliard Presbyterian Church

First rehearsal: Monday, January 29th, 2018, 7:30 PM at Hilliard Presbyterian Church

An incomparable pianist and an incomparable concerto. Caroline Hong, pianist with the Columbus Symphony, joins the orchestra in one of the most loved, dazzling and demanding concertos in the repertoire, Tchaikovski's Piano Concert # 1 in b flat minor. An audience favorite since its premiere in 1875 (the audience in Boston demanded a repeat of the third movement!)- prepare to be thrilled. Our all Tchaikovski evening also includes "Mozartiana," the master's delightful orchestra suite written in celebration the 100th anniversary of Mozart's opera "Don Giovanni."

Spring Concert 2018

Sunday, May 20th, 2018, 7 PM

Hilliard Presbyterian Church

First rehearsal: Monday, April 2nd, 2018, 7:30 PM at Hilliard Presbyterian Church

*Please note: Like everything in life, our schedule can be subject to change. Also, we occasionally experience a combination of snow, freezing rain, freezing fog, plagues of locusts, giant asteroid impacts, and zombie apocalyptic activity. In such a rare event, we may cancel a rehearsal. Be sure and check this site for notification.
